Kadenz' very first show,winning Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy at the Umpqua Kennel Club show in Winston, OR.
Same day,winning Group 1 in the Puppy Group competition at the UKC in Winston. That was a good day for Kadenz!
Kadenz won the major from the puppy class at the Clackamas Kennel Club show in Canby. Wonderful day for us!
Taking Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the Greater Portland Dachshund Club Specialty show in Hillsboro. He's only 8 months old...Wow!
Picking up 2 more majors and 7 points at the Specialty and the Host Show at Enumclaw, Washington the 3rd weekend in August. 2 points shy of his Championship at 9 months. Whew!
Here he is winning a 4 point major to finish his championship! He also went Best of Winners and Best of Variety. What a fantastic day for Kadenz.
As we were already entered in the Southern Oregon Kennel Club show the next day that Kadenz finished his Championship, we moved him up to the BOV class and he won it! Now he gets to relax for a while and grow up. NICE JOB Kadenz!
Well, we couldn't wait for him to grow up, so we entered him in the Cascade Hound Specialty in Oct 2005, where Kadenz took Sunday's smooth sweeps and a sweeps group 2! That boy has charisma! Thanks to Faye Strauss who said all the right things and put 4 table dogs up, 2 of which were dachshunds! Wow! How often does that happen?
