Forcing Spring Blooming Shrubs Indoors
When you prune your spring blooming shrubs you can bring the branches with buds on them inside to force them to bloom. Another delightful way to bring spring to your home.
These are flowering quince. I don't bring cherries or apples in as I'm too stingy with the fruits from my baby trees. Maybe in 10 years!
You can see the buds ready to pop...
After all the cutting and sorting I ended up with 2 big vases, 1 small vase and 2 little Ikebana arrangements.
I've used my little arrangers more this year than ever before. I like the simplicity of them.
As soon as these bloom I'll have more pics........
