Learning the hard way...
Mmmmm! New meaning to "Bee Stung Lips"
The girls have evolved into highly productive and really mean bees. Apparently this was the way of the past and we need to get back there as they are more resistant. Well, my girls resist all my efforts to be nice to them! But... they are going great.
Here are my hives under the snow... pretty!
Bees can take a lot of cold, just not moisture! The holes in the hives boxes are to ensure air flow.
Still loving being a beek!
