Large Ornate Arrangements

Here is a pink bouquet offered by my dog club to a fellow member who was in the hospital.

I lined the basket with freezer paper and some plastic bags.  Then I placed the soaked Oasis blocks in the basket.  First go the tallest flowers, in this case the white snap dragons, then the large pink roses, then the pink rose sprays.

Next, add the daisies.

Then the Alstromeria (not my favorite, but makes a good companion to roses.)

Then fill it all in with baby's breath.

Pretty!

Here is one I made because a) I LOVE this new milk vase and b) I found some après Valentine's Day roses on super sale.

My fabulous 2 piece milk glass vase.  (It's BIG)

I fill the top of the vase with the soaked Oasis, and get ready to rumble......

Uh, I'm really short of flowers here...  Too late to do anything about it tonight.

I cut some camellia, and some ivy and some daphne.  Mmmmm!

See how big the vase is?  It needs to be big to show up in this room.  Not my best work, but fun!
